2G Fuel Surge Tank 3.0 liters for brushless fuel pumps
Nuke Performance's popular 2nd generation Fuel Surge Tank, specially developed for use with brushless fuel pumps, such as the Protec Cobra Compact and Deatschwerks DW440 Brushless.
strong>This new updated version is the first of its kind specifically developed and designed to mount a single or dual set of brushless fuel pumps in the tank. A single oversized AN-10 ORB socket allows you to use a single fuel line directly from the surge tank, even when using a dual internal setup.
• An extremely lightweight motorsport surge tank
• Fits a single or dual brushless in-tank fuel pumps
• 3.0 liter surge tank capacity
• 6-pin bulkhead electrical connector
• Safe for all types of fuel, including E85 and E100
• Single AN-10 ORB socket, for hassle-free installation
Nuke Performance 2G fuel surge tank allows you to combine two internal fuel pumps into one AN-10 socket. This Fuel Surge Tank can deliver a steady flow of fuel even over 2000hp. This setup is all you need to combine into a space-efficient and energy-efficient solution and design.
• Accommodates single or dual internal high-pressure brushless fuel pumps, fewer amps, less heat and cooler fuel.
Nuke Performance 2G Fuel Surge Tank 3.0 Liter for Brushless Fuel Pumps is designed to use one or two brushless fuel pumps within the surge tank while the controls are on the outside.
• Less heat, fewer amps, lower fuel temperature
• Control your fuel flow and pressure with PWM
The use of a 6-pin connector allows you to use a single or dual brushless fuel pump with the classic Nuke Performance surge tank and is offered with a range of brushless fuel pumps that fit our surge tank without any additional modifications.
• Fits a single or dual internal brushless fuel pump, securely mounted with billet fuel pump bracket.
The fuel surge tank for brushless fuel pumps uses a billet internal fuel pump bracket and fits a single or dual brushless fuel pump. As brushless fuel pumps use more connectors, this surge tank is equipped with a 6-pin bulkhead connector that allows you to connect one or two brushless fuel pumps into the surge tank.
• Fits 1-2 x Deatschwerks DW440, and the new extreme DW810
• Fits 1-2 x Protec Cobra Compact brushless
• Fits 1-2 x Most common 39mm OD fuel pumps
• Safe for all types of fuel , including alcoholic fuels such as E85
The brushless fuel pump surge tank is developed for use with Protec Brushless Cobra Compact and Deatschwerks DW440 brushless fuel pumps (available here). Combined with the Nuke Performance fuel pump mounting kits, installing a high performance fuel system has never been easier.
• DW440 Brushless 440 LPH (40 PSI, 13.8v), 620 LPH (40 PSI, 20v)
It also fits standard 39mm fuel pumps, but since these fuel pumps use more amps it is recommended use one of the other Nuke Performance surge tank models available with the fail safe 6mm connectors.
• Why do I need a surge tank and how does a surge tank work
2G Fuel Surge Tank 3.0 Liter for Brushless Fuel Pumps acts as a buffer so the fuel pumps are always fueled for high outputs when the return line from your engine leads straight back into the fuel pump, it stays full all the time, giving the fuel pumps enough fuel at all times.
When you use an external surge tank, you minimize the risk of fuel starvation when you run on low fuel and the fuel pumps run out of fuel due to intense driving. With this setup you can count on maximum fuel delivery, a safe solution for your engine, even when conditions are as demanding as they get in motorsport. With this external surge tank, you can mount high pressure fuel pumps in the tank without extensive customization of your stock fuel tank and don't have to worry about fuel delivery failure.
